Due to large amounts of West Nile Virus found in local mosquitoes Magna Mosquito Abatement District (MMAD) in conjunction with Vector Disease Control International (VDCI) will conduct a mosquito aerial adulticide treatment tonight, August 5, 2026 weather permitting. The treatment will take place between 4800 West to 9180 West and between California Avenue to Parkway Blvd. A low flying aircraft will be seen just after sunset (8:45 pm) tonight and will be flying East to West and West to East in a pattern for approximately one hour.
